Mydatapage is a hosted website monitoring service. Our job is to guarantee that websites run at top performance. Our servers regularly send out HTTP or HTTPS requests to clients' websites and inform them if there are any issues.
Primary Location is the principal location from where your registered monitors will be checked based on the determined checking interval. If a website is detected to be down after checking from the Primary Location, it will also be checked from Secondary Locations. Normally, when no downtime is detected, checking from Secondary Location takes place every 30 minutes for our Enterprise account clients and every 60 minutes for our Professional account clients.
Of course. You can pause monitoring and resume it after completing the scheduled website maintenance. If you want to pause monitoring, go to the 'Home' tab in the web page monitor, click 'Edit' and then select 'Suspend Monitoring'. If you want to resume monitoring, go to the 'Home' tab and click 'Activate'.
Yes, it is possible to monitor several websites in one session. All you have to do is download 'Transaction Recorder' tool and create a 'Web Application' monitor for it.
Unfortunately, no. Only one account can be created for one email ID.
After registration you were supposed to receive an email asking for your confirmation. Without confirmation the account expires in 5 days. You need to respond to the email requesting account confirmation and activate your account.
Yes, you can filter your logs on the agent string starting with "Mydatapage".
If a website does not respond in 30 seconds (this is a default timeout period) after being pinged from Primary Location, we recheck the website from randomly selected Secondary Locations. If the website still does not respond, it is declared unavailable and we send out notifications regarding website's downtime.
In order to monitor all pages of your application, you have to configure a 'Web Application Monitor' – it will include all pages in your web application. For more info, please visit our web application monitor page.
We charge based on the number of monitored URLs and monitoring intervals. One URL monitored every 5 minutes costs 4 EUR per month. Therefore, monitoring 5 URLs every 5 minutes will cost 20 EUR per month.
We base our prices for web application monitoring on two factors:

1. Interval of monitoring;
2. Number of steps in the web application.

Monitoring of one step every 30 minutes costs 2 EUR per month. Since there are 5 steps in your shopping cart application, it will cost 10 EUR per month to monitor it every half an hour.
Choose 'Add Monitor' option to add more website monitors. Once a month our system will automatically check if you added new monitors to your account and charge your for actual services provided.
Simply log into your account and change Monitoring Interval to 5 minutes. Once a month our system will automatically check if you added new monitors to your account and charge your for actual services provided. We can ensure that you will not lose money.
